Universal Black Media (UniversalBlackMedia LLC) is a photography and video production business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This policy covers universalblackmedia.com and the inquiries sent through it.

What you send us. The contact form asks for your name, email address, project type, budget range, and a description of your project. You choose what to put in it. Nothing on this site asks for a password, a payment card, a government ID, or a physical address.

What your browser sends automatically. Like any website, this one records standard request information through its host: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time of visit.

Measurement and advertising. The site is built to load Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok tags. These record how visitors reach the site and which pages lead to an inquiry. When you submit the contact form, a lead event fires with the project type you selected. Your name, email address, and project description are never sent to any advertising platform.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not buy it.

Inquiry details exist for one reason: to reply to you with a quote and available dates, and to run the project if you book.

Measurement data exists to show which pages and which ads bring real inquiries, so the money spent on advertising goes somewhere useful.

Running a small site means a few outside services touch this data:

• Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.
• FormSubmit delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
• ImprovMX forwards email sent to our domain.
• Google, Meta, and TikTok receive analytics and advertising events as described above.

Each one handles data under its own privacy policy. Beyond these, we share your information with nobody, and we never trade or sell it.

Analytics and advertising tags set cookies to recognize a returning visitor and to connect an ad click to an inquiry.

To limit this, use your browser's cookie controls, turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, or install a tracker blocker. Blocking these has no effect on the contact form, which works either way.

Inquiries stay in our email for as long as the working relationship is useful, and a completed project's correspondence is kept for business records.

Analytics data follows the retention period set inside each platform.

Pennsylvania has no general consumer privacy statute as of this policy's effective date. Residents of states with one, including California, hold rights of access, correction, deletion, and opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We honor these requests from anyone who asks, wherever you live, because sorting people by state serves nobody.

This site is meant for adults hiring a photographer. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a child has sent us something, email us and it gets removed.

Photographing a minor is a separate matter, handled through written permission from a parent or guardian before the shoot.

Updates to this policy appear on this page with a new effective date. Material changes get called out rather than slipped in.
